Karima Walker & Advance Base postpone UK tour, announce US west coast tour with Claire Cronin & share new music 31 Mar 2022

Karima Walker & Advance Base have made the difficult decision to postpone the April UK tour. Here's a statement from Advance Base's Owen Ashworth:

With the current levels of COVID infections in England & Scotland, we just don't think it's the right time to travel overseas & perform the kinds of shows that we've worked so hard to prepare. So, in the interest of our health & yours, we're coordinating with venues & promoters to reschedule our UK dates for August & September, with the hopes that COVID numbers will be at a more manageable level by the time we return.

All of the dates that have already been rescheduled are listed below. If you'd already purchased tickets for our April shows at any of these venues, your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled dates. Our rescheduled Oxford show has been moved from Fusion Arts to The Library, but Fusion Arts tickets are still valid for the new venue.

Sept 06, 2022- Oxford, UK @ The Library (Moved from Fusion Arts)

We're still working to confirm new dates for Edinburgh, Brighton & Hull. Updates will be posted at orindal.limitedrun.com/pages/tour-dates as soon as we have more information to share.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to reschedule a Hastings show through the same ticket vendor. If you purchased tickets for Hastings, or if you purchased tickets for any other show but are unable to attend the new date, email advancebase@gmail.com & I'll get you in touch with the ticket sellers to ensure that your money is refunded.

I'm truly sorry for any inconvenience the postponed dates may cause. Postponing our tour has proven to be a costly & time consuming undertaking, & Karima & I did not take the decision lightly. Regardless, we're still pretty sad about postponing our visit to the UK. We hope to see you in August & September.
