Orindal is going on vacation! We'll be packing orders all day &
making one last trip to the post office tomorrow morning. Any orders
placed after August 2 will ship on August 16, & will include a small souvenir from our trip. Downloads will still be delivered immediately.

Yesterday, The Line of Best Fit premiered "Smoke," the second single from Gia Margaret's debut album, There's Always Glimmer.

This morning, Stereogum premiered "Birthday," the first single from Chicago singer/songwriter/producer Gia Margaret's debut album, There's Always Glimmer (out 7/27 on Orindal). Stereogum describes the song as "lush and textured, expertly crafted with a heady rush of atmosphere and Gia Margaret’s hypnotic delivery."

On July 13, 2018, Orindal Records will release a newly remastered vinyl & digital edition of Etiquette, the classic 2006 album by Owen Ashworth (of Advance Base)'s former electronic pop project, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. Stereogum wrote about about the new reissue HERE.
The new vinyl edition of Etiquette was lovingly remastered by Matthew Barnhart at Chicago Mastering Service & manufactured to the highest standards by Gotta Groove Records. LPs are available in two colors: classic black & "ghost white" natural opaque, the best-sounding white vinyl available.

Is It Really a Secret?
is an album with surprising depth. What on the surface appear nice
little bedroom pop songs are actually documents of very real emotions... the sentimentality and
earnestness on show here is not some brazen declaration, rather the
colouring of an interior world that manifests as neurotic awkwardness.
However whirlwind and volatile, the love is not one acted out with a
Hollywood-style directness, instead the thoughts and feeling are
repressed, played over internally so as to maintain face. This lack of
communication is intrinsic to the nostalgia of the Moon Racer aesthetic,
because it allows an imagination of what might have been—an iteration
where interaction was easier, braver, more open, and the relationship
everlasting.
